ABOUT NOTELOVE
GIVING EVERY CHILD THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN MUSIC
Since 2018, Notelove has been giving out free music lessons to the youth across the United States. Music is not only a fun past time but music education also provides an environment for youth to develop necessary skills such as perseverance, a strong work ethic, cooperation, and much, much more. We hope you can join us in our mission by either volunteering, donating, or signing up for lessons!
Did you know that learning music can cost from $50 to $100 per lesson?
At Notelove, all lessons are completely free!
OUR MISSION
We dedicate ourselves to encouraging participation of youth in music. Many lack access due to the expensive and difficult nature of pursuing a musical education. Program fees at music schools can add up to hundreds of dollars per student annually. Our mission is to spread the joy of music to youth from around our community without cost being a barrier.

Notelove is also located in the Bay Area, Massachusetts, and Houston!
How often are lessons?
Lesson schedules are made depending on student and instructor preferences. We recommend having one lesson a week, which might be 30-60 minutes long.
Where will lessons take place?
Lessons can take place at whatever location is comfortable for both the student and instructor. Usually this means the instructor’s house or student’s house. Virtual lessons are also offered upon request, but we recommend in-person lessons for the best experience!
What if I have to cancel a lesson?
- If an instructor needs to skip a lesson, that is fine, so long as they properly communicate with their student’s parent.
- If they need to end lessons, they again need to communicate that with the student’s parent, and they also need to email notelove.dfw@gmail.com (there’s no punishment! we just need to update our records)
